Flight Officer Peter Parsons

Thanks to work by the Barnes and  Mortlake History Society, we have recently discovered that the memorial in our church that list F/O Parsons as missing in action is actually incorrect. He is, in fact, buried at the Durnbach War Cemetery in Gmund am Tegernsee, Bavaria, Germany. The details are as follows:

F/O Parsons was the son of John Restorick Parsons and Laura Mabel Parsons, of Barnes. The family is still remembered by older members of the congregation.
