Church activities
As well as meeting for Sunday worship every week, we regularly get together for Bible Study which is run by the minister, and/or Deacon on a Thursday morning, which everyone is welcome to attend. We have just finished our Lent course: A Passion for Christ and we will be organising more soon.
First Thursdays
Come and join us for for a chat and FREE refreshments: tea/coffee/juice, as well as snacks. The sessions take place on the first Thursday of the month At Barnes Methodist Church from 2pm-4pm. The next ones will be on Thursday, 6 June and Thursday, 3 July. See the full poster here. No need to book just come along! Music Concert, Viola & Piano
Sunday 11 May 2025, up in the Sanctuary at 7pm
Join Margrit Hasler and Rosie Richardson for a fascinating evening of music, featuring some of the most admired compositions for viola and piano. Their programme includes works by Bach, Britten and Brahms. Tickets are £15 and can be bought online here or on the door. See poster here.
Community classes for adults and children
We have a variety of different group classes for all ages throughout the week, including yoga, pilates, Tai Chi and general fitness for adults. We also have a cooking group, as well as homeopathist and a psychotherapist (for adults) who use our space for appointments.
For children, there is a range of music, dance and drama classes during the day and after school. Do pop in and have a look at our notice board to find out what's on.
