Churches Together in Barnes

Barnes Methodist Church is delighted to be part of Churches Together in Barnes (CTiB). This organisation brings together Christians from all backgrounds to work together for the common good, and the mutual enrichment of our worshipping life. CTiB has its own website here

Churches Together in Barnes is committed to:

  • holding together the rich variety of our heritage and our ways of worship within the One Body,
  • venturing together in work and witness for Christ that the world might believe, and
  • committing ourselves to each other to serve the Church and our community.

Barnes Churches Together Service 2019The churches meet together regularly, most recently holding a joint service for Christian unity at St Osmund's Catholic Church (shown in photo, right).

The members of this group are:

"I ask not only on behalf of these, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me." (John 17:20-21)
