Weddings

Every year, we are delighted to celebrate the joy of entering into married life with couples in our beautiful church. To learn more about the Christian understanding of marriage and what may be required of you, please click here. We usually marry people with some connection to the church, although this may simply mean living within our neighbourhood.

In 2022, Barnes Methodist Church joined with other Methodist Churches across Britain in registering to perform same-sex marriages, following the national decision of the Methodist Church so to do.

If you would be interested in getting married here, please contact our minister or the Church Office. Please do not make any other arrangements (with hotels, etc.) until you have a confirmed agreement with the church.
