A warm welcome to Barnes Methodist Church!

Worship

We meet each week for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am.  The service lasts approximately 1 hour and everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments afterwards. Please click here for details of our upcoming services.

The Bible in a Year!

This year we have set ourselves a challenge! Join us on Saturday, 28 March as we begin a journey through the Bible. In just 15 minutes a day, discover for yourself its radical vision of inclusive love and its message for you.  You are invited to join any of our series  of friendly warm-up sessions to get you started.  Click here for more info on these starter sessions.

Lent Bible Study

“Unlock the truth” - Interpreting the Bible

(Thursdays, 10:30-12:00 noon)

As part of the invitation to 'Read the Bible in a Year’, we shall be thinking about how we interpret the Bible: How do we understand this ancient text? What assumptions do we bring? How can we gain fresh insights?  The sessions will be led by Geoffrey and Jessica Dalton and will take place on Thursday mornings from 10.30am - 12 noon in the Chapel.  Please click here for more information.
