CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR (Part-time)
An exciting opportunity to work with three local churches, helping to oversee their day-to-day administration and management.
Following a reassessment of needs, we are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed person to work across three Methodist churches in the Barnes / Putney area. They will have responsibility for overseeing the hiring of the premises, the churches’ communications and publicity, managing the church office and supporting the minister and stewards in their work. They will need to have very good inter-personal and organisational skills.
The administrator will have responsibilities at Barnes Methodist Church, Putney Methodist Church and Roehampton Methodist Church, but will be based at the church office in Barnes.
Please do not be overwhelmed by the list of responsibilities, which may seem rather daunting! We will provide you with all the support and training necessary.
We are currently looking to employ someone for 15 hours per week (rising to 18, if needed), with some flexibility as to timings for the right candidate. For details of salary, hours, terms and conditions, etc., please see the following:
